Launched in 2018 by DNA Media & Entertainment, Narayani Namastute is a flagship IP—an ode to Shakti and the community spirit of Durga Puja. What began in Delhi-NCR soon reached West Bengal, the festival’s heartland, and steadily expanded across India, with 15+ states now participating and audiences connecting from 10+ countries.
With Kolkata’s Durga Puja inscribed by UNESCO on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the initiative has gained powerful global resonance—celebrating creativity with responsibility, heritage with innovation.
Over the years, Narayani Namastute has honoured Puja committees that embody devotion with design, safety with sustainability, inclusivity with green practices, social impact with digital innovation.

As the celebrations evolved, the journey gave birth to the prestigious NN Shakti Samman – Pride of Bharat, conferred during the grand prelude event “Agomoni.” This honour recognizes outstanding Indians across the globe—visionary leaders and changemakers whose contributions in diverse fields embody the enduring spirit of Shakti, uplifting society and culture on a national and international stage.

Now in its eighth season, Narayani Namastute stands as a global showcase of Bengali pride and India’s living heritage, celebrating artists, volunteers, leaders, and communities who carry the spirit of Durga Puja to the world.
